a b o u t We're a confused collective of marble designers who, after discovering a set of encyclopedias, decided to stick our pinkies into the asphalt parking-lot of words. We seek innovative poetry and prose, work that quivers nervously for attention, work that teethes endlessly on doorknobs. We could toss out a grocery-list of writers—from Spicer to Borges, or O'Connor to O'Hara—but that would confuse you. The best way to understand our editorial preferences is to read the journal. alice blue is published on a hidden mountain-top between Portland, Oregon and Boise, Idaho. |

prose |
Please send prose of any length as a single .doc (word) or .rtf attachment to aliceblueprose@gmail.com (using the above format for the subject line, replacing the word poetry with prose). Include a short introduction if you like. Do not provide a synopsis of your piece. Keep in mind that, at present, alice blue is a web publication and, as such, seeks web friendly prose, which often means short, perhaps in that 50 to 2000 word range. But exceptions will be made, many of them, for genius? |
